2013 PATHFINDER

The 2012 Detroit Auto Show was the
platform for the unveiling of the Pathfinder
Concept.
Due in 2013, the new Pathfinder looks as
though it will promise great fuel economy
improvement and have its weight cut by over
200 kilograms.
According to Motor Trend, Nissan’s 2013
Pathfinder will be equipped with a 3.5 litre
V6 – Nissan hasn’t yet commented on this,
however the Nissan crossover Infiniti JX35
will sport this engine so it makes sense the
Pathfinder would too.

a choice of engine with a 4.0-litre 198 kW V6 or
a 2.5 kW advanced common-rail turbo diesel
engine, offering up 3,000kg of braked towing
capacity.
You also get the choice of the Pathfinder’s
5-speed automatic transmission that also offers
manual mode (M-Mode) so you can select gears
manually, or the 6-speed manual (not available
on diesel models).
Independent front and rear suspension provides a
smooth ride on all terrain, plus there is a
generous array of safety features including
Vehicle Dynamic Control, ABS brakes, Electronic
Brakeforce Distribution as well as dual front
and side airbags. This list goes on, so you’ll
definitely be safe and sound in the Pathfinder. |
